Itinerary

Our main destination is the captivating Quinta da Regaleira, a 20th-century estate that feels centuries older. While the ornate, Gothic-style façade of the grand house is beautiful, the real adventure awaits in the 4-hectare gardens.

These grounds are not merely decorative; they were meticulously designed to reflect the mystic ideologies of its original wealthy owner, Carvalho Monteiro. Get ready to explore a landscape riddled with hidden tunnels, concealed symbolism, and cryptic monuments referencing the Knights Templar, Freemasonry, and dark alchemy.

Leaving the mystical gardens, we head for the coast to witness one of Portugal's most powerful natural spectacles: Cabo da Roca.

As the westernmost point of Continental Europe, standing atop these towering, 150-meter cliffs gives you a sense of vastness that few places can match. Breathe in the raw, salty air and understand why the great poet Luís de Camões described this spot as the place "Where the earth ends and the sea begins." With its stunning lighthouse and breathtaking vistas, this is an absolute haven for photographers and nature lovers alike.

Our next stop is a spectacular rock formation with an equally dramatic name: Boca do Inferno (Mouth of Hell).

This breathtaking chasm, located on the cliff seashore near Cascais, is a geological marvel. It was once a cave that the relentless power of the Atlantic eventually breached, creating an open cavity and a natural arch. On days when the sea is rough, you can hear the powerful, resonant roar of the water crashing against the rocks—a unique, unforgettable sound. You’ll have the chance to admire the view from above and take the path down for a closer look at this display of the ocean’s raw force.

We conclude our day with a stop in the picturesque coastal town of Cascais. This once-humble fishing village transformed into a beloved summer destination for European aristocracy and nobility in the 19th century.

Today, it retains its elegant, charming atmosphere. We'll take a relaxing stroll past its lovely harbor, still busy with small fishing boats, and soak up the idyllic climate that first drew royalty here. It’s the perfect, sophisticated conclusion to a day of intense exploration before we transfer you comfortably back to Lisbon.

The most astonishing feature is the Initiation Well. Resembling an inverted tower lined with a 27-meter spiral staircase, this structure was never intended for water. It was a site for ceremonial purposes—a literal descent into the Earth connected to Tarot mysticism and initiation rites. Dare to step down its path and emerge through the labyrinthine network of tunnels that connect the well to grottoes, lakes, and other hidden corners of the park. It’s a truly immersive, Indiana Jones-esque experience!
